**What you`ll do:**

On our mission to improve experience for product managers at SAP, we are looking for a user experience design & process management expert.

You will be part of the Hyperspace Product Management Solutions team in Sofia.

The team will have a further location in Walldorf.

The team will be working with experts from SAP Engineering around the world, like product managers, UX designers and architects.

We will provide integrated product management solutions to SAP Engineering targeting 3.500 product managers at SAP.

The product management solution will support the harmonized product operating model in SAP Engineering comprising all stages from Feedback to Delivery.

As user experience design & process management expert you will drive the product discovery process and shape the future of our offerings.

In this role, you will play a key part in transforming user insights and business objectives into impactful, user-centered solutions.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for leading user research initiatives to understand the needs, behaviors, and motivations of our users.

This role will work closely with product teams to identify research priorities, design and conduct research studies, and analyze and communicate research findings.

+ You will partner with Product Management to identify and prioritize opportunities based on user needs, business goals, and market trends.
+ You will formulate hypotheses about how proposed solutions might solve identified problems and design experiments to test these hypotheses.
+ You will lead product discovery activities, such as user research, problem framing, and solution ideation, to ensure a deep understanding of user pain points and tasks.
+ You will translate insights into actionable design concepts and prototypes that clearly articulate potential product directions.
+ You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to integrate user research insights into the product development process.
+ You will own corporate product management business processes and keep them up to date through regular facilitation of process workshops with the business and document results with SAP Signavio.
+ You will moderate and drive large-scale research and design decisions across multiple teams, and you challenge requirements and solutions always with the problem and user in mind.

We expect you to blend the boundaries of Research and Design and be able to convert research findings into tangible design solutions.
+ You will continuously advocate for a product mindset, challenging assumptions and validating ideas through research, testing, and iteration.
+ You proactively coach and consult our product managers and engineers on different human-centric methods throughout every project phase, you are not a theorist instead you can always guide and work in a practical and efficient way.
+ You will collaborate with a fun, supportive and talented team.
+ We take our products seriously, but we do not take ourselves too seriously.

**What you bring**

+ Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology or a related discipline
+ 7 years of experience conducting user research
+ 5 years of experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
+ Strong methodical skills to lead user research efforts for products, incl.

planning, conducting user interviews, card sorting’s, usability tests, and other research methods
+ Advanced expertise to structure and lead business process workshops
+ Strong experience in documenting Corporate Business Processes with SAP Signavio
+ Profound knowledge to analyze and synthesize research findings and to inform design decisions and product development
+ Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles
+ Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma
+ Exceptional communication skills and a proactive attitude
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from data
+ Coaching and moderation skills
+ Fluent in English, written and spoken
